Named after its original owner Frederick A. Clark, the small mining town of Frederick has become a vibrant and growing community in Colorado’s Front Range. Frederick is at the epicenter of the Carbon Valley area which means that residents of the town are able to enjoy abundant recreational opportunities within the community including an extensive network of trails, parks and open space.  Nearby attractions include the Bulrush Wetland Park that serves as a unique plant and bird sanctuary, and Frederick Recreation Area, a 129-acre parkland that includes numerous recreational opportunities including non-motorized boating, fishing, and trails to walk, bike, or jog. Frederick is also 30 minutes away from a variety of major attractions in Denver.



Frederick’s central location lends itself to the finest health care facilities in Colorado’s Front Range such as the North Vista Medical Center and the North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley. Both facilities offer a full spectrum of primary care services.



With Frederick’s exponential growth over the past 20 years, a wide variety of businesses have surfaced within the community. The St. Vrain Valley School District and the Sparton Medical Systems of Colorado medical manufacturing are some of the larger employers in the community.
